Sarah Blackstone is President of Augmentative Communication Inc. and a Project Director in the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center on Communication Enhancement (AAC-RERC). Dr. Blackstone is former president of ISAAC, a USSAAC founder and serves on the Board of Directors of The Bridge School in California. She has authored multiple texts in the AAC field and was editor of the ISAAC Series. She is a Fellow of ISAAC and a recipient of ISAAC's Distinguished Service Award, USSAAC's Award of Professional Excellence, and the DeCarlo Award for Clinical Achievement (Maryland/ASHA).
